This morning we got some encouraging news about Clara's infection. A second negative culture came back. We still need to wait until October 4th for the culture to be finalized. A positive could pop up just as it did this past Sunday, but if it stays negative in days to come, that means the antibiotics worked!!
She will stay on antibiotics for three weeks, to treat possibly meningitis as well.
Clara looked great today. I got to hold her and change her diaper. This was the first time I have really gotten to touch her in over a week.
It was a good day! Many praises. Please continue to pray so Clara can ride the rest of this out.
