Today I got to hold Clara in her isolette and change her diaper. Today was also the first day I saw her open her eyes, due to her Billy mask being off.
She looks so small in my hand
We got the the hospital in time for rounds and got to listen to doctors and nursers discuss Clara. Then they retold in parent friendly words.
- Plan on weening vent.
- take out artery line in arm.
- take more blood today
- possibly adjust feedings to 1 ml of breast milk each feeding. She is now getting .5 mls every 3 hours.
- Big weight change up, but probably due to increase in fluids in her body. Very normal.
