Clara is in a lot of pain. She was up every two hours screaming, desating down in the 50's and once 44. She is taking high dose or morphine. I kept on mentioning she had not had a wet diaper since the morning. So finally they cathed her. That seemed to actually releive some pain and she went hours resting until this morning. 

No smiles. No eye contact. 

Today's plan is to leave cath in. Manage pain, keep NG tube down into her stomach to drain all that gross stuff out, and give her sezuire meds and baclofen through her gtube.

No eating for several days. It could take days to get her bowel to wake up. I have no idea when this will be over. I pray that God just gets her through this and gives her rest.
