Clara's surgery will be tomorrow at 11:30. We are to arrive at 10:00, which is a blessing. We will have time to get up, and not feel rushed. Also Maddie got to stay home with us tonight. Which is a plus. I have been packing Clara's bag all day. Still not sure what I have in there or what I am forgetting. I feel disorganized and still not ready.....but also peaceful. If that makes any sense.
Clara had a great day home with her nurse and myself. She was busy with therapy this early afternoon, and ate a really good for lunch and dinner. Probably the last of PO feed for a while. She blew us many kisses and was just delighted with all who were with her.
This weekend and next week will
be a balancing act between home with Madeline and in chapel hill with Clara. However with the support of family and friends I know it is possible. Please specifically pray the surgery happens tomorrow and for the guidance of her surgeons hands. God bless, Courtney
