Post Op


Clara is in the PICU. She's trying to rest, but is very uncomfortable. She does have a hard time with pain, so I hope their plan is to keep consistant pain meds.

I am playing lullabies on my phone just keep her calm. Music is her favorite. 

No vent or sedation for tonight, like we were told. Just o2 and humified air for her trach. They did upsize the trach to a 4.0 Shiley. 
Her arms are restrained, for obvious reasons. 

pray she finds rest tonight. 

This below is on a wipe board in her room. Great explanation of where stent is in trachea. Diagonal lines I believe are the grafts.

I talked with your mom Friday after the surgery. So glad everything went well. God has blessed your family in so many ways. Russel and I will continue to pray for all of you.Give Maddie and Clara a hug for us.
