Day 3

I was so happy when I walked in and saw a happy baby. All the prayers must be working because she is now just on Tylenol for pain. 

We are still in the PICU and I believe will stay until her first trach change, which would be Friday. I think we will be discharged from here, but still not sure when. Chest tube is still in, but draining very little. Hopefully that can come out soon. She is getting full feeds over 24 hours, and still fluids. I did not mention this yesterday, but she is on an antibiotic. That is for any possible infection she could get after surgery. 

Clara and I have read many books today, played and watched several episodes of Baby Einsteins on my phone. She loves the animals. 

She had a sponge bath, hair washed, and teeth brushed. Also you can see the bow made it back in:)

So it's been a good day. 

 I appreciate all the texts, messages, and for the help with Maddie.
