When the Rain Falls.....Things Begin to Grow

This morning as I was doing some chores I over heard Clara's nurse singing one of the most beautiful lullabies to her in her room. I couldn't help but to smile. It was just so sweet. We really  have been blessed with some wonderful home nurses. They have made the transition very smooth and take away a lot of the nursing stuff that would other wise be overwhelming for me 24 hours a day. They all quickly just fall in love with her, as so many of us have for the past 5 months. She has just really blossomed at home with her personality. She is very curious about all and everyone around her, and stares at you like she knows exactly what you are saying or thinking. Tummy time is not her favorite. Her little striped pillow helps.

Busy week ahead. Two appointments back in Chapel Hill, and a home visit with early intervention next Friday for a eval.

Both Madeline and Clara make my heart sing! When they are together I am always amazed how little Clara looks and how big Madeline has become. These are big moments that makes my face hurt from smiling so much.

Lately I have become a facebook fan. I love to read especially articles people share. One just really spoke to me this morning and I wanted to share. You can also go on and read more with this link.

Do you struggle to find Hope in the messes of life? Brooke shared her beautiful heart and encouragement for moms over at The Better Mom this week. Praying it will bless your soul too...

"It’s easy to forget God’s promise to be with us no matter what. In the midst of painful situations, we wonder where He is, forgetting that we serve the God who hears us when we pray, not the God who looks the other way." - Brooke McGlothlin

I love how this writer writes about how you can find HOPE in the messes you have in your life, no matter how small or large they are. Messes you are in not by choice, or ones that you have created. She writes about how David did not give up but found strength in God.
“…David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.” 1 Samuel 30:6 (ESV)
