Last summer night for me!

Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and h praises her;
"Many daughters have done well,
but you excel them all."
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gate.
Proverbs 31:28-31

Today was my last summer day home with both my girls. Tomorrow I'll back to school starting a new year. I'll miss this sweet smile all day long and my many fun outings with Maddie.
What a blessing to have had two months home with both girls. Every day wasn't picture perfect or easy, but most were. I tried/still try constantly to be the mother God wishes me to be, but as we all know it gets messy.  In the upcoming weeks I pray that he can guide my thoughts and actions each day, to remind me in the art room of my precious gifts at home (and Madeline down the hall in first grade) That is my goal to keep that focus.

Still so much anxiety about leaving Clara, as I know this starts a very long school year without her. So my plan: take it each day at a time and rush home as soon as possible.

I also pray for just a fabulous, fun year with my art student's making really awesome stuff. That I am who God needs me to be for them as well.

To all my amazing teaching friends, Good luck to all of you for a wonderful year!
