Clara has started seeing an OT therapist. She come a few times a week and we do the exercises with her when we are there. We will receive therapy at home too, to help her with developmental stuff. In these photos she is also on a trach collar and not on the vent. Humidified air blows into her trach through a large tube. She is breathing on her own, just with oxygen. This is something they are working on for 6-8 hours a day. She is usually so tired from doing it all on her own, and goes back on CPAP (on the vent) at night. She will go home on humidified air, and hopefully one day we will ween her of that. Because she still has lung disease and will for two more years, this process will be slow. She does not have much reserve, so at the end of this short OT time she was exhausted.
